Skilled Nursing Services:

• Nursing Assessments. (q 2 hours for Ventilator Patients)
• Instructions on medication administration for homebound patients.
• I.V. administration. Including: antibiotics, chemotherapy, TPN, PPN, IV hydration, etc.
• Home Ventilator Care/Respiratory Care Services/Oxygen Therapy.
• CPAP and Bi-Pap management.
• Passey Muir Valve (PMV) management.
• Apnea Monitoring and Pulse Ox Monitoring.
• Wound Care. I.e.; wound dressing change, all types of wound care, Ostomy management, Wound VAC Therapy management.
• PICC Line, Groshong, Hickman, Mid-Line and Central line dressing changes/ maintenance and discontinuation.
• Porta- Cath IV access for IV medications/lab draws/flushing.
• Peripheral IV set up, rotation of site and maintenance for patients without PICC line/Central lines.
• Feeding Tube management: NA, NG, J-Tube, G-Tube, Mickey Buttons.
• Lab draws and reporting: (SAME DAY IN MOST CASES) Results are Fax’d to physician’s office.
• Foley Catheter Insertion/ maintenance/discontinuation.
• Suprapubic Catheter and Nephrostomy Tube management.
• Instructions on safety measures for home bound patients.
• Staple/Suture Removal from Surgical Incisions.
• Physical Therapy.
• ROM (From Nursing Staff).
• Diabetes monitoring and client education.
• Nutrition Assessment, Management, Education of clients.
• Monitoring High Risk Pregnancies and follow up- Working with the physicians, analyzing and giving frequent updates on patient status.
• Well Baby Care/Check; Instructions on caring for newborns as well as breast feeding instructions.
• Post Partum Care.
• Pediatric Care: IV administration by our Pediatric nurses.
• Geriatric Care/Instructions: Working with the family on patient’s outcome.
• Special Patient Care: Patient’s that are Mentally Impaired
